The Brief
Great things come in small packages, and nothing is truer than this little River front Noosa Apartment on the Sunshine Coast. The perfect getaway for our Melbourne clients. When they bought it, the apartment was old and required a complete refurbishment. There was a lot of design detail to squeeze into this tiny unit. With careful spatial planning, exquisite cabinetry and expertly selected finishes we transformed this to an absolute gem. We had tremendous fun creating clever storage solutions with outstanding cabinetry details. The cabinetry finishes selected added luxury and intrigue to all rooms. The two pac kitchen was matched to Resene Triple White Pointer, which flows to incorporate banquet seating in the dining area. There are drawers below and cupboards above service additional storage needs.
What we love
This project is a perfect example of how thoughtful interior design can completely transform a space without structural changes. We love the way the updated layout enhances flow and functionality, allowing each area of the home to feel intentional and connected.
The bathrooms are some of our favourite spaces. The Powder Room features Phillip Jeffries grasscloth wallpaper and the showpiece is most definitely the Agape Sen mixer, combined with its moody lighting and dark walls, is a great example of how a tiny space can evoke its own elegant, sophisticated atmosphere.
As for the main bathroom – just check out those custom-designed sail-shaped mirrors! This entire space was opened up so our client could take advantage of the views of the Noosa River while showering. Although the bathroom is small, wall-hung vanity basins created the illusion of more space along with a full walk-in shower.
