The Brief
Located in Glenview on the Sunshine Coast, this family home originally built in the traditional Queenslander style required a thoughtful renovation to better support modern living. While the home had strong architectural foundations, the internal layout lacked flow and functionality. Our brief was to reimagine the spatial planning, creating a more cohesive connection between key living zones while enhancing the overall sense of openness. A major part of the transformation involved relocating the staircase to improve the relationship between the kitchen and main living area unlocking a far more intuitive and functional layout. In addition, a completely new master suite was designed, incorporating a spacious ensuite and walk-in robe to deliver a private, high-end retreat within the home. The result is a refined, highly functional interior that honours the character of the original Queenslander while elevating it for contemporary Sunshine Coast living.

From the statement feature pendants suspended within the stairwell to the beautifully integrated bookcase within the kitchen island, each element has been carefully considered to elevate both form and function.
